It strongly appears now that Oxygen has removed Xena: Warrior Princess from its programming schedule for the foreseeable future, if not permanently.
In the past when they've ceased airing the episodes, it was normally to give the series a break. It generally takes about four and half months to run through the entire series. That means in a year, they can sometimes get the series in three times.
The information comes from a reliable source, confirmed by the fact that the recently revamped website no longer has a mention of the series or even a page. Confirmation of the news that the show may be off the network for good is out and should be known in a couple of days.
When the buyout by NBC Universal was announced earlier, the information released hinted NBC's desire to revamp the network with different content.
