UPI is reporting that Karl Urban (Caesar on "Xena" and "Hercules") has signed on to play Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy in the upcoming "Star Trek" movie directed by J.J. Abrams. This completes priniciple casting for the film.
Written by "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" writers, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, the prequel "Star Trek" movie is scheduled for release in 2008.
