Naked owner of gladiators run amuk

Okay, my attempt at humor has probably failed. This is one of those blog posts where I can fly off the handle, or I can make nice and make fun. I'm going the inbetween route and say this: Seeing a 41-year-old woman shed her clothes for a premium cable channel TV show is not appealing to me. End of discussion.

Which brings me to this:

Much discussion has been made whether or not she's drunk. Truth is, we don't know what her drunk is. I know what my drunk is... I'm hilarous. But no one would know that because I rarely get drunk. But anyways, back to the interview which has sparked more debate since her comments about "Xena" shortly after it ended in 2001. It's definitely got people talking about it, all the much needed pre-premiere hype it needs.

Personally... she was on high something... but nothing illegal. Just Lucy being normally giddy because she knows that fans around the world are going to get their rocks off on seeing her naked. Which is either totally sick or just weird. Not sure which.

I'm not a prude. I worked in a video store when the porno tapes would break on a daily basis and it was my task to fix them (with rubber gloves mind you). I've watched my fair share of smut over the years. I'm desensitized to it.

LL is entitled to do whatever the frak she wants with her career. And as a fan, I choose to not watch what she does. The choice is up to the individual on this one folks. Just because some people don't like it doesn't make them any less of a fan. And I challenge anyone who thinks that it does. Because I can probablly pull apart your argument fairly swiftly by figuring that since you don't like such and such episode of XWP, you're not a fan of XWP. Reality is, you're still fan.

You don't have to like everything an actor does to be a fan.

AND FOR THE LAST TIME: SPARTACUS IS NOT XENA.
