I've not touched it for over two months. I probably won't touch it for a while. I have no desire to work on it anymore because of various fandom related things... oh well... I guess maybe in three years it'll still be around whenever I feel like working on it again.
And I had such hopes that I moved beyond the bickering over the finale and the fan reaction. I was wrong. Horribly wrong.

In the beginning
With the relaunch of the website, I plan on adding a few more features to the website. Among these include the adding of new video clips to not only the XME website, but also adding them to YouTube (since they usually end up there anyways).
The first clip is alread up. It’s called In the Beginning and it’s from the sixth season DVD release set that contains behind-the-scenes footage and interviews from the first season. It’s most likely a promotional thing geared toward advertisers and station programmers.

Some new features on the blog
I've added some new features to the blog. First, on the right I've RSS'd the Xena Online Community so that the five "newest" (not replied/updated) posts show up. I've also RSS'd the website so that the latest news show up.
Another feature is at the bottom of the page. I've added in a little widge that features some Lucy Lawless products. I'll change it up every month or every couple of weeks with new Xena/Hercules/Lucy/BSG related products.

Redesigned Xena Online Website
The parent Xena website (the one that keeps you up-to-date with all things Xena and Hercules) is now live! It's taken me a long time to decide on what I was going to do with the old girl, but I figured to make my life a lot easier and to allow for more contributors to the website. With that being said---the website now boasts a WordPress layout!
It's pretty nifty. Check it out!

Xena Online Update and life in general
I think I'm hitting that upperclassman syndrome where you really don't want to do any more homework, papers, reading and tests.
But oh well, it has to get done and I know what I'm doing this week.
Let's talk a little Xena...
I'm working on a project right now, that'll catapult the homebase into something really special. I'm shooting for a January 1, 2008 relaunch of the entire site with new features, plenty of information, and multimedai.
It'll be the "Xena" website for all-things "Xena." Read: Xena. No splintering off into other topics, genre and actresses. Nor will it focus on the actors new projects (that's what http://www.xwponline.net will be fore). It'll be a "Xena" websitein the most purest sense of the word.
What does that mean? Oh, I have my ideas what it will involve and will involve in the coming future. Thing of it as one huge website dedicated to soley to Xena (Hercules will come eventually) with nothing else in mind other than the fans.
Why I started doing this in the midst of transition from my retail job over to a job at the school newspaper, I don't know. Or why I started doing this midst of the school year with about three projects due in the next 3 weeks. Ouch.
Oh, I'm heading for some late nights. That's for sure. Just keep the coffee hot.

The XOC is number 1!
If one were to go to http://www.forumfind.com and do a search for: Xena, Lucy Lawless, Renee O'Connor, or Hercules, you'll find that this blog's forum (rather, sister website) is the number one board on the ezboard/yuku network for Xena fans!
That's right! Xena Online Community is the number one board for Xena fans. And just ask our members what they think of the XOC and they'll ya. WE ROCK!
